Former Hearts of Oak coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, could be returning to the Ghana Premier League 10 months after leaving.

Despite helping Hearts to record impressive away wins against Medeama, AshantiGold and Inter Allies in his time, the Japanese-American handler was fired by Hearts of Oak in June 2016 after a series of disagreements with the team’s management.

He decided to go on a coaching course in India for 25 days ahead of the second round of the league but he and the team agreed on the termination of his contract because Hearts estimated that his absence for 25 days would cause a problem. However, after a stint in Nigeria, Yatsuhashi may be coming back to Ghana and a tweet he put on Tuesday seems to show his intentions.

For now, it is unclear if he will really come back to Ghana but if he decided to return, Kotoko could be an option after they sacked Zdravko Logarusic last Sunday.

Sources close to the club say that the management is already on the hunt for a new head coach following the announcement of Godwin Ablordey as the caretaker coach.
