New Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah got off to work ahead of his official date by watching Saturday's MTN FA Cup round of 64 match between Inter Allies and Liberty Professionals in Accra.
The ex-Ghana captain wants to hit the ground running on his return to the position he left three years ago.
The former Al Khartoum SC head coach is committed to building a strong home-based national team and will make monitoring of the local game a priority.
Appiah joined other coaches Maxwell Konadu, Ibrahim Tanko, Prince Owusu and Yaw Preko in the stands.
He arrived in the country on Friday ahead of his unveiling next week.
