Ghana Music Awards High Life artist of the year Kofi Kinaata, Counselor Ludtterot, musician Donzy and a host of others were the centre of attraction at this year’s Hitz FM ‘Rep your Jersey’ football gala held at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra.
The Confession hit maker whose real name is Martin King Arthur, laid down the microphone, left the studio and also muted his voice, and rather chose to put on a jersey and put his feet into good use as he dazzled the pitch with his superb football artistry.
Controversial marriage counsellor, George Lutterodt was also not left out as he took his controversy to the pitch when he refused a handshake after he was brought down by an opponent on the field on play.
Lutterodt, Kofi Kinaata, Donzy and others in the Dr. Pounds team proved their best but that wasn't enough to secure their team a final spot as they lost 2-0 to Mercury Quaye’s Turn Up Army.
Turn Up Army won the 5 aside tournament after they outshined their opponents in the final on penalties to annex the trophy.
The Stars who graced the highly attended event include Black Star and Udinese midfielder Agyeman Badu, BBNZ Star Lil Shaker as well as one of Ghana’s fastest rappers Germenai.
