Ex-wife of Kwame “Conte” Bonsu, the footballer who has been handed a two-year prison sentence says she married him for his money .

The footballer was handed a two-year prison sentence for assaulting his Swedish ex-wife, Maria in 2015.
By a twist of fate, a video has surfaced on social media of what is believed to be a secret recording done by the footballer Kwame Bonsu in a conversation with Maria, his ex-wife.
It appears that the two are brushing their teeth and Maria is heard saying that all Swedish women like black men because of their money.
Kwame Bonsu asked her to repeat what she said and she did. He then went on to ask if she was with him because of his money and she responded in the affirmative.
The video which does not show the faces of the people looks like it was recorded in the bathroom area of a house. Maria admitted she misjudged the wealth prospects of Kwame Bonsu which made her marry him.
She went on to add that many Swedish women only like Africans for their money. The video which has gained some views already was first shared by Yussif
The purpose of the video is to throw more light on some of the issues the 22-year old footballer faced in his marriage.
Sister of the convicted 22 year old midfielder, Nana Yaa Baotemaa Bonsu came out to debunk reports that her brother was a bad person.
She vehemently quashed the charges that were brought against him and said that the truth in the whole matter would soon be out.
In an interview with footballmadeinghana.com, the sister of the footballer said that her brother’s Swedish ex-wife brought false charges against him out of jealousy.
