Accra, April 7, GNA - The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has appealed to the Regional Police Commander to consider deploying enough Policemen in and outside the stadium to check any act of malpractices.

In a statement issued and signed by Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of the club copied to the GNA Sports, it called on the Regional Commander to detail more men at the guardrails of all booths because these are the areas noted for malpractices by spectators.

The statement added that fans should also refrain from scaling the inner perimeter after the match to avoid arrest by the police.

It added that all vehicles parked around the stadium or along the streets would be towed away by the appropriate agency since the Independence Square would be made available for sports fans to park their cars.

According to the statement, the practise whereby people with Complimentary cards load their cars with other people would not be tolerated and that those without such complimentary cards must purchase tickets from the booths to avoid embarrassments.

The statement said complimentary cards are for sale at the clubs secretariat during working hours from Monday April 5 to Thursday April 8 at a rate of 150,000 cedis.

In related development, Greeland Professional Band from Agona Swedru have been contracted to entertain the fans during the match.
