Aduana Stars returned to winning ways by defeating Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0 in Week 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Agyemang Badu park on Sunday.
After their hopes of winning this season’s league trophy was dented by Wa All Stars in midweek, where they lost 3-1, Aduana Stars got their mojo back at their favourite ground when they inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Dwarfs.
Aduana registered the first goal of the game in the 19th minute, after Bright Adjei beat goalkeeper Razak Issah from a close range.
And just as the half was about to end in a slim win for Aduana, Bright Adjei popped up again to score his second goal of the afternoon in the 42nd minute.
Aduana Stars maintain their second position on the log with 43 points, same as first placed side WAFA but a game played more with seven games to end the campaign.
