Berekum Chelsea defender Nicholas Opoku has joined Tunisian giants Club Africain on a three-year deal. The Golden City based centre back has enjoyed a decent start to the 2017 Ghana Premier League to earn the mega move to the North African side.
The composed centre back played a starring role at the back for the 2010/11 GPL winners in the ongoing campaign to set the alarm bells ringing across the continent. A reported trip to an unnamed Belgian club failed to materialise before the current offer from the North African giants.
The ball passing centre back made a name for himself in the domestic championship to earn a maiden invite into the national team for the US friendly clash.
