Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko will use an electronic payment mode for their match day tickets.
The Porcupine Warriors with this move will give their supporters the opportunity to buy match day ticket via mobile money sent to a mother pool.
They have built a database with phone numbers of their supporters to facilitate the E-transactions of match tickets.
The process will see fans receiving an SMS alert on their phones requesting for approval, which will then give their tickets in codes.
The pilot project is set to be tested in midweek when the Reds play host to Dormaa based Nea Salamina in the MTN FA Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium.
