The clash was originally billed to come off on September 28th but it was called off by the promoter, Real Sports & Entertainment, owned by former world champion Evander Holyfied.
“A new date has been set for the fight between Duke Micah and Mario Diaz,” a source close to the boxer told Ghanacrusader.com. ‘The new date is now October 19th and the fight will be held in Atlanta.”
On the aforementioned date, Micah will be making his first defense of his WBC international bantamweight strap against the Mexican.
The fight will also be Micah’s first fight in the US
