Asante Kotoko coach Steve Pollack says his players did not need any extra motivation in their 3-1 MTN FA Cup win over rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors were head and shoulders above the Phobians and raced into a three-nil first-half lead courtesy striker Saddick Adams.
Hearts came back strongly in the second half but their efforts could only earn them a consolation goal courtesy Thomas Abbey.
Kotoko have now won a ninth FA Cup trophy and the latest feat has handed them a slot to play in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.
