Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana Stars have parted ways with Richard Mpong and Michael Amenya having been deemed surplus to requirement.
Richard Mpong joined the Dormaa-based club from Kotoko two seasons ago but has failed to prove his worth.
Coach Yussif Abubakr needs to get rid of some players in order to make way for new ones and two of the casualties are Richard Mpong and Michael Amenya.
However, information reaching Ghanacrusader.com indicates that, another set of unwanted players will be released very soon which will see players like, Stephen Adams, Bright Nsiah, Stephen Adams, Nana Yaw Afriyie and Tanko Mohammed being shown the door.
They have added new players such Berekum Chelsea’s left-back Justice Anane and Wa All skipper, Hafiz Adams to their squad.
Aduana Stars will be representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League next year following their premier league success.
