Accra Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Razak believes his former coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, is the best man for Inter Allies and will transform the team next season.
The American-Japanese trainer was the center of attraction during his short stay at Hearts of Oak as he was able to lift the team from an average level to the top four of the league before he was sacked by the club because they could not give him days off to pursue a coaching course.
The affable coach is however back in the country to coach Inter Allies who battled relegation last season.
In a recent interview, Patrick described Kenichi as a very hardworking, discipline and an inspiration to players.
“He is a very hardworking coach, he is a man who sticks to his work; he is very organized and well disciplined. Training starts at 8:00 am but before 5:30 am Kenichi is already on the field doing his running before the players come on the field to train.”
The Japanese trainer will be the third coach to handle the club in recent times after Prince Owusu was axed during the season to allow his assistant, Abdul Karim Zito, to take charge and help the club survive the relegation battle placing 13th on the log.
Patrick is optimistic Kenichi’s presence at Inter Allies would go far to benefit the players and technical staff.
“Some of the coaches would give you instructions without examples but Kenichi would take you through the activity with you and that’s the one thing I like about him”
Kenichi will bring his wide range of experience to bear on Inter Allies after he also terminated his contract with Nigerian side, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, last year following what he described as interference with his job.
