Kumasi Asante Kotoko has confirmed the appointment of Ex-player Raphael Akakpo Patron as their new assistant coach.
Akakpo joins from Sogakope based club WAFA after signing a 2 year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, and will join the club’s technical team led by Head Coach Steve Pollack.
Kotoko will be hoping to draw the experience of the 44-year- old who was integral in the steady rise of last season’s league runners-up WAFA.
Patron is expected to join up with the team for preseason with immediate effect.
