Ayitey Powers signs contract to fight Enoch Quaye

Ayitey Powers and Enoch ‘Gbese Bruno’ Quaye have agreed to fight in a cruiserweight contest on March 10th at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The two boxers put pen to paper on Wednesday afternoon at the forecourt of the Gbese Mantse Palace in Accra. The card is been put together by Alex Ntiamoah’s Box Office Sports Promotion.

Powers-Quaye will be a co-main event to a main event yet to be announced on the bill christened ‘Independence Weekend Rumble.’

Powers called out Quaye after destroying Eric Kwadey in two in December 2017 and the Gbese born boxer has accepted his challenge.

For Quaye he will be ending his two-year hiatus after losing to John Koudeha.
