The Stadium is one of the venues to host this year

With two weeks to kick off the Ghana Premier League, the Accra Sports Stadium have been shut down for repairs to begin ahead of the 2018 Africa Women Championship which will be held in Ghana.
Section of the stadium was shut down in April last when the Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Kwame Asiamah paid a visit to the place.
This means that Hearts of Oak inter Allies will have to relocate ahead of the new season.
The edifice was built in 2008 when Ghana hosted the Africa Cup of Nations.
