CAF picks Nathalie Rabe as first female Director of Communications

Malagasy Nathalie Rabe is the new Director of Communications for the Confederation of African Football (Caf).

Rabe becomes the first female to occupy the position after she was named as the replacement for Junior Biyam of Cameroon.

Her appointment was officially made public by Caf President Ahmad Ahmad at the women’s football symposium in Morocco on Tuesday night.

Nathalie Rabe has been on the Caf media team for several years until her appointment.

She is a former Minister of Communications in her native Madagascar and is currently on the Executive Committee of the Football Federation.
