Ghana FA Executive committee member Kojo Yankah has launched a scathing attack on Great Olympics, labeling their legal tussle against the federation as 'childish' and borne out of a 'broke' seeking to cover up for their financial woes and shambolic managerial deficit.

The country's football has been brought to a significant standstill following a legal battle between the relegated Premier League and the FA.

Olympics have dragged the federation to a civil court in the West African nation, challenging their demotion to the second-tier.

The unflattering situation has brought football on its knees as the delay start of the league begins to bite club owners in Ghana.

And Western Regional Football Association chairman, Kojo Yankah, has angrily lashed out at the club for adopting a 'cheap'means of frustrating the smooth flow of the game in Ghana.

"What Great Olympics is doing is childish. If they believe they've a good case, why don't they pass through the right channel?" he quizzed on Accra-based Happy FM

"With all their too known and big lawyers, Great Olympics are using the cheapest way because they don't have the money to go to CAS.

"Are Olympics saying Osei Kweku Palmer was foolish for not going to court but rather CAS? They're being cheap." he fired.

Olympics suffered relegation at the end of last season after a poor run and managerial deficit.

But the club are resolved to use other means to preserve their top-flight status - leading to the current stalemate that has rocked football in the country.
