Black Princesses midfielder Ernestina Abambila says the group they find themselves in the world cup is a difficult one but is confident the team can progress to the next stage.
Ghana have been draw in group A of the FIFA U-20 women's World Cup alongside host France, New Zealand and European giants the Netherlands.
The draw which took place in France saw the Africans paired with France for the second successive World Cup and midfielder Ernestina Abambila who was with the team two years ago was confident of success in France but insists it will come with a lot of hard work.
"It's a difficult draw, but we will need to work hard," she told Happy FM. "We have to work hard at training, we need the support of the authorities to make Ghana proud."
"It's a difficult draw but we can qualify from the group," she added.
Having played France in Papua New Guinea two years ago, the FC Minsk midfielder believes the host will be a stiff competition for the West Africans. However, she maintains France is a beatable side.
Ghana drew 2-2 with France two years ago and Abambila was on the score-sheet after scoring a long range effort.
"I think France is the toughest opponent in the group, they are very strong so we have to work hard so we can beat them."
"Last two years in the World Cup, we drew with them 2-2 so we know them very well and their style of play. Those of us who were there two years ago, we will inform the others of France and we will heed to the tactics our Coach and make sure we will beat them."
"We know them, they are beatable, we can beat," she confidently concluded.
Ghana will play France in the opening game of the competition in Vannes, where they will be based.
The Black Princesses are yet to progress beyond the group stages of the competition.
