Former management member of Asante Kotoko Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh has called on the club to go at full length to swoop for Victorien Adebayor from his contract with Inter Allies.
The Nigerien import made a vivid impression on his debut in the Ghanaian top flight league as he bagged a brace for Inter Allies in their 3-0 win against Bechem United in the league opener last Sunday.
Several pundits have already tipped the 21-year-old to finish the ongoing campaign with the top scorer's gong following his superlative debut performance.
And Ponkoh has added his voice to the Nigerien plaudits and urged his former employers Asante Kotoko to purchase him out of his running contract with the Capelli Boys.
"Victorian Adebayor is a Kotoko material and they must break the banks to buy him out of contract", Yamoah told Kumasi-based FOX FM.
Adebayor, who was a top performer for Niger in the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations, has had trials with French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in 2016.
He was a key member of the Niger squad at the Championship of African Nations 2016 in Rwanda where he scored against Nigeria in the group stages.
