Second edition of Betway Easter Games held

Leading online sports betting company, Betway on Saturday, 31st March 2018 successfully staged the second edition of the annual Betway Easter Games.

The gala which was played simultaneously in four (4) cities across the country namely Takoradi, Sunyani, Kumasi and Cape Coast had eight (8) teams participating per city. The teams were invited from the various communities in the cities where the Gala was held.

GHC 24,000 cash prize and souvenirs were awarded to top three (3) teams per position in the football competition. Other prizes were given out to top goal scorers, winners of table tennis competitions and FIFA 18 competitions.

At the Sulele Park in Takoradi, home team Sulele Club beat defending champions Kingsmen FC in the final to lift the trophy. Ultimators XI beat Getfund FC to win the 3rd place.

The David Accam Community Park in Kumasi also saw Unity FC from KNUST beat Santasi FC to come out as winners after a fierce competition. Ravena FC came 3rd after beating Asokwa FC in the other final game.

Pedu Stars beat Youngsters FC at the Play Soccer Park in Cape Coast to emerge as overall winners on Betway Easter Games in Cape Coast. Cape Giants won and came 3rd.

Newtown FC, Zongo FC and Odumase FC came out 1st,2nd and 3rd respectively at the Penkwase Park in Sunyani.

Top goal scorers in all four (4) cities walked away with 43-inch Television Sets. Many fans and enthusiasts of the various teams showed up to show support to their teams and cheer them up.
