Japan's Ambassador to Ghana, Tsutomu Himeno hosted the Black Stars in a send-off ceremony at his residence on Thursday before they depart to play the Blue Samurai in a friendly.
Isaac Sackey, Attamah Larweh, Emmanuel Boateng, Richard Ofori, Afriyie Acquah, Nana Opoku and goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi were all present.
Others were Lumor Agbenyenu, Nicholas Opoku and Rashid Sumaila, Mubarak Wakaso and Richmond Boakye Yiadom.
Head coach Kwesi Appiah and members of the technical team were represented.
Management Committee Chairman Wilfried Osei presented two Black Stars replica jerseys to Ambassador Himeno.
The friendly which is supposed to sharpen the Blue Samurai will be played on 30 May in Yokohama.
