Adulphus Adusu emerged the topmost winner at the Asempa FM Armwrestling Challenge held at the forecourt of media giants Multimedia on Saturday, May 26 , 2018.
Adulphus Adusu who was having his maiden armwrestling experience brought an end to Tahiru’s dominance in the men over 100kilograms category when he resoundingly defeated the reigning SWAG Para-Athlete of the year.
Adusu in a chat with the press stated that “It feels normal to have achieved this. I have been working for this since childhood so I feel normal. Now that I have achieved this feat, I hope to be part of the armwrestling team”.
Grace Mintah also emerged winner in the women’s 70-80KG category, toppling Alberta Amponsah.
Respective athletes who annexed medals prizes all went home with some goodies from DSTV, Asempa FM, K-Balm and MyBet.Com.
The event was graced by the President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Ben Nunoo Mensah and President of the Greater Accra Armwrestling Association, Mr. Kofi Addo Agyekum.
