Hudson-Odoi was in action against Arsenal
English-born Ghanaian forward Callum Hudson-Odoi could have a breakthrough season with Chelsea following his electric performance in their pre-season games.
Hudson-Odoi has started three of Chelsea’s preseason games, which included clashes against Perth Glory, Inter Milan nd Arsenal- excelling in all these games.
And according to Goal.com, it was the Blues' assistant coach Gianfranco Zola who pushed for the 17-year-old’s inclusion in the preseason squad.
Hudson-Odoi did play a couple games towards the end of last season. But he will be hoping this can be his breakthrough season with the first team.
He will be battling with the likes of Willian, Pedro and Eden Hazard for a spot as one of the attackers behind the main striker.
