Asamoah Gyan continues to warm bench at Kayserispor

Asamoah Gyan is yet to make his first appearance in the new Turkish Super Lig season after warming the bench for Kayserispor on Saturday night.

The Ghana captain, who has regained full fitness and was sleek during pre-season, was no kept on the bench in the 0-0 draw at Bursaspor.

Head coach Ertugrul Saglam could be sending signals that the experienced forward will not feature in his plans.

Gyan is determined to roll back the years after shaking off his injury worries which restricted him to 12 appearances last season.

His countryman and fellow Ghana international Bernard Mensah lasted the entire duration.
