The friendly clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Sunday grossed an amount of GHC75,000, 442gh.com can confirm.
The General Manager of Asante Kotoko, George Amoako disclosed on Oyerepa FM that it was a figure was disappointing as the organizers of the game expected more.
“We grossed about GHc 75,000. It wasn’t what we were expecting but for the first time, we will make do with it.”
He adds that his club might not be receiving a quarter of the amount but prays the amount will improve in the second leg through spectatorship.
“I am not sure Kotoko will even get 25000 after deductions.”
“From my experience, we had about 10,000 to 15,000 spectators.”
“I hope it will improve in the second leg.”
