CEO of Ashantigold Dr. Kweku Frimpong and his fleet of cares (insert)
Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold Dr. Kweku Frimpong has been talking big ahead of his side's friendly encounter with regional rivals Asante Kotoko.
According to the majority shareholder of the Miners, his club is the best team in Ghana at the moment and says non of the traditional powerhouses in the country are close the standard of his side.
Dr. Kwaku Frimpong is also betting his Lamborghini on the game as he is prepared to let go the expensive car should Kotoko win the game.
“No Kotoko player is better than my players. We’re beating them this Sunday” Kwaku Frimpong affectionately called Champion told Metro FM on Friday morning.
“Ashantigold is the best club in Ghana right now. All others are behind us. In terms of player quality and everything we are ahead.” he said.
“We beat Hearts of Oak 3-1. Humbled Kotoko 2-0 in Obuasi and we are going to repeat that. Our performance is there for all to see” Champion boasted.
Ashantigold have had a good run of games against their opponents in recent times including a 2-0 victory Kotoko in the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.
Ashgold ended the first round joint top with Medeama SC.
