Ghana midfielder, Thomas Teye Partey has hailed Atletico Madrid teammates over their 2:0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night at Wanda Metropolitano.
Spain international, Saul Niguez scored the opener for Atletico on the 33rd minute, before Partey assisted Antoine Griezmann in the 80th minute to seal a 2-0 win.
The three points have taken Diego Simeone’s men joint-top of Group A, with two matches to go.
A point in their next fixture will ensure that they qualify to the next stage of the UEFA Champions League.
The central midfielder thinks his colleagues brought their ‘A’ game to the fore on Tuesday night.
“I would give the team a 10 out of 10 in this match because we played very well from the beginning to end," Partey told his club’s official website.
