Ghana striker Karim Sadat has joined Swedish Superettan side Halmstads BK from Landskrona Bois, SportsworldGhana.com can confirm.
The 27-year old former Ghana U-20 striker has signed a two-year deal, keeping him till November 2020.
“It’s always a pleasure to represent clubs with a rich story. So it feels great to be here, and I’m looking forward to playing with HBK. I’ve seen a part of the city and it’s actually bigger and more exciting than I thought, said Sadat Karim in his first interview with the club’s website.
He scored 11 goals, five assists in 28 matches for relegated side Landskrona Bois in the just ended season.
“I’ve played Halmstad twice, so the fans and the club know me. If you see me playing, you know my strengths and how I am like a player, he says.
The goal poacher however, has set qualification to the Allsvenskan as his prime target at his new club.
“I will work hard to make sure that the club goes up to Allsvenskan. It’s the biggest goal.
Sadat, has scored 70 goals in 109 matches in Sweden since 2015.
