Striker Francis Abu scored two second-half goals that helped Ghanaian side Right to Dream Academy defeat South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai 2-0 to win the 2018 J-League International Youth Cup on Sunday.
Abu struck in the 67th minute and wrapped up the victory with ten minutes remaining to seal the victory and give the African side the title at the Nagano U Stadium.
The stubborn Koreans had given Right to Dream a tough game in the first half even though the Ghanaians missed some decent scoring opportunities.
The Akosombo-based side that has been so impressive in the tournament switched tactics after the break by ditching their fluid midfield play and relied on speedy display from the wings.
That paid off when Marc Oliver took off from the right before finding Chukwumeka who set up Abu for the opening goal.
Substitute Oliver Antman flicked in for a diving Abu to trickily head in with the goalkeeper diving to the other direction to seal the tournament title for the Ghanaian side.
"I am very satisfied, I have had two goals in one match in the past, but today's game was also delightful," the match-winner Abu said after the game.
