Kotoko Goalkeeper, Felix Annan, has ruled out complacency in their ongoing Africa campaign.
Playing away from home on Sunday, Kotoko defeated Cotton Sport of Cameroon 3-2 in a Confederation Cup match.
The scoreline looks positive for Kotoko as a little effort in the second leg in Kumasi can guarantee them passage to the next stage.
But some football connoisseurs believe that Kotoko’s away performance could make the players become complacent.
Commenting on the issue, Felix Annan said Kotoko is determined to qualify so complacency is out.
He stated that even though Kotoko won the first leg “We shall approach the second leg as if we lost the first leg.”
Felix Annan noted that Africa matches are tricky and very difficult to play so Kotoko will watch against complacency.
Sounding extremely confident, the Kotoko keeper predicted that Coton Sport will fall again this Sunday.
