Two-time Ghana Premier League winner Aziz Ansah has urged Asante Kotoko SC to develop a winning mentality ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC on Sunday. Ansah believes a tough mentality will help them win their group C against the Zambian giants at the Baba Yara Stadium.
According to the former Kotoko defender, the 3-1 lost to Nkana FC at the Nkana Stadium in Zambia should serve a motivation for the lads ahead of the reverse game in Kumasi.
"I will advice the strikers to try to take their chances in the game and forget about the loss they had in Zambia and have a winning mentality on Sunday although there would be pressure playing on home soil".
"They [players] must psyche themselves and have confidence ahead of the game and win the game for the supporters", he opined to Ashh FM SuperSports in an interview.
He added that; "The defenders should organize themselves well on the backline to avoid mistakes and be calm especially in the 18-yard box to avoid unnecessary fouls".
The Reds have two games left to secure qualification to the next stage of the competition thus against Al Hilal at home and Zesco United in Zambia. They are 3rd on the table with 3 points after three round of matches.
