Nkana FC President Charles Chakatayza has denied reports linking Asante Kotoko striker Songne Yacouba to his club over a possible move.
This comes after several media reports have linked the Burkina Faso international to the Zambia giants.
But speaking on Nhyira FM on Friday morning, President of the club Charles Chakatayza denied his outfit’s interest in the player.
“We have watched Yacouba and he is a fine footballer but there has been no move for him yet,” he said.
But he never ruled out a possible move for the striker in the coming days.
“We know the rules and if we want him then that means we have to request from Kotoko. Well, you never know,” he added.
Asante Kotoko will face Nkana FC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the 4th Group C clash of the CAF Confederation Cup.
