German born Ghanaian defender Christopher Avevor has extended his stay with Bundesliga II side St. Pauli.
The 27-year old signed a two year contract extension and will stay at the club until the summer of 2021.
His old contract was due to expire this summer but following his impressive displays this season, the Kiezkicker's rewarded him with a new deal.
Avevor has featured 22 times for the club this campaign as St. Pauli pushes for a return to the top flight.
Christopher Avevor previously played for Fortuna Dusseldorf and Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga II.
Despite being born in Germany, he is yet to make a senior appearance for his country of birth or even the contry of his parents.
