Midfielder Richard Senanu is set to join the Asante Kotoko team for their trip to Zambia to play Zesco United in the CAF Confederation Cup after making an injury return.
The hard working defensive midfielder has been out for two weeks after sustaining the injury in the Porcupine Warriors 2-1 win over Zesco United in Kumasi a fortnight ago.
Senanu was expected to be included in the team against Al Hilal last Sunday but failed a last minute match fitness test.
However, his recovery is good news for coach C.K Akonnor, who's success in the competition can be largely attributed to the tireless midfielder.
The Kumasi based club are expected to leave Ghana on Tuesday for Ndola to play Zesco United. Kotoko would have to beat Zegalacticos to qualify for the quarter finals of the competition.
