Mark Noonan has resigned as the CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak after travelling to visit his family in the US.

The American had travelled to the States to visit his sick mother after spending some time in Ghana but has decided not to return to continue his marriage with the Phobians.

Noonan left Ghana about a month ago and was expected to return to continue his job as the CEO of the club but has decided to slap the Phobians with his unpleasant departure.

In a statement signed by the Communications Manager of the club, Mark Noonan has resigned from the club and a new CEO has swiftly been appointed to replace the American.

Noonan cited family duties and the lack of football in Ghana as his major reasons for resigning from his post.

His departure has thrown the Hearts of Oak fraternity into a state of endless agony as they kept faith with Noonan as the right person to transform the club.

The expatriate CEO started the re-branding of the club by getting them a new logo, moved them to start training at Pobiman, got them a sponsorship deal with UK kits manufacturing giants Umbro and started a wide range of other projects towards the rejuvenation of the club.

Mark Noonan was appointed the CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak on the 28th of February, 2018.
