Ghana defender Musah Nuhu has successfully undergone surgery in Switzerland after sustaining a career-threatening injury during a training session with the Black Stars.
The Ghana new boy sadly picked a knee injury during a training session with the Ghana national team in Dubai while preparing for the 2019 AFCON.
The St. Gallen guardsman successfully went under the knife on Tuesday and is expected to be out of action for more than three months.
Nuhu was handed his debut call up into the Ghana national team in the provisional 29-man squad named by coach Kwasi Appiah.
The in-form lanky defender, unfortunately, couldn’t make it to the final 23 billed for the AFCON due to the injury.
Ghana will wrap up their preparations in Dubai with friendly against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Friday.
Ghana are in Group F with Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
