Abdul Fatawu Safiu has risked incurring the wrath of Kotoko fans by suggesting he would consider a move to bitter rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
The striker has established himself as a key figure for the Porcupine Warriors since joining the club last year.
Fatawu has scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists in 11 appearances for Kotoko in the ongoing NC Special Competition.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com, the 24 year old hinted that a transfer to Hearts can happen in future.
“I respect every club in Ghana including Hearts of Oak, I just want to play football it doesn’t really matter where”
When asked if he will be able to refuse a mouthwatering offer from the Phobians, the former Eleven Wonders playmaker said;
“I will not say yes or no but it will depend on Kotoko management. If they give me permission to go i will sign but if they want me to continue at the club I can’t refuse”
The former Inter Allies attacker has had spells outside Ghana in the past, where he played for Vimmerby IF, Portland Timbers and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
