Former Ghana midfielder Cargo Mohammed has confirmed faking injury to hive Stephen Appiah opportunity to play for Udinese during their playing days.
Appiah had disclosed earlier this week that he had the opportunity of playing his first game for Udinese after Gargo faked an injury and was substituted.
Appiah expressed gratitude to Cargo for sacrificing a lot for him to establish in Italy when he first arrived there.
And Fargo in an interview with Light FM has confirmed faking injury and sacrificing to see Appiah rise to the top.
“Yes I faked injury for Stephen Appiah to gain chance at Udinese,” Ga?go confirmed.
“I sacrificed my home and most of my stuff for him to reach that level and God being so good he didn’t disappoint me and the world,” he proudly added.
