Christian Atsu, a key member of the Black Stars, has been ruled out of the game against the “Wild Dogs” of Guinea-Bissau, at the Suez Stadium on Tuesday, July 2.
He is also not likely to play in the 1\16th stage should the team qualify on Tuesday.
Atsu was taken off 15 minutes into the Stars second Group game against Cameroon and further medical checks on Sunday revealed that, the player would be out of the crucial game against Guinea Bissau.
According to information gathered by the GNA Sports, the winger is not likely to make in the 1\16th stage should Ghana advanced after Tuesday’s game against Guinea Bissau.
Coach Kwesi Appiah, told the media that, he was awaiting the outcome of the scan results, but indications were that, he would miss the next game.
