The finals is a battle between West and North African countries, Senegal and Algeria respectively.
Senegal after beating Tunisia 1-0 in the first semi-finals will at the finals meet Algeria who beat three times Champions, Nigeria 2-1 in the second match.
Tunisia on the other hand will face Nigeria for the third place at the Al Salam Stadium, Cairo on 17 July, 2019.
Among the four, Nigeria have won the AFCON thrice, whiles Algeria and Tunisia all have won it once. Senegal is yet to taste it.
The final will also feature an intriguing Premier Leagte subplot as Manchester City’s Mahrez comes up against Liverpool’s Mane at the Cairo International Stadium, exactly at 7:00pm
