Management member of Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Edmund Ackah has confirmed that the club has signed a pre-contract agreement to secure the services of Karela United striker Solomon Sarfo Taylor.
Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the club is expected to feature in the next edition of the CAF Champions League and has been busy in the ongoing transfer window signing players that will strengthen their squad.
Following reports on Friday that Kotoko has added Solomon Sarfo Taylor to the list of players signed, Edmund Ackah has revealed in an interview with Vision FM that the deal has not yet been completed.
According to him, Karela United is yet to give them the release letter of the attacker though he has already signed a pre-contract agreement.
“He has signed a pre-contract with Kotoko already. All we are waiting for is a release letter from Karela United so we pay his signing on fee”, he said.
Reports indicates that the release letter has been delayed due to the fact that the Anyinase based side fancy transferring the player to a foreign club instead of a local side.
