President of the Ghana Sports Callers Association(GSCA) Nko Joseph, has tagged Kwesi Appiah as incompetent, calling on authorities to rather assign him as General Coach of the Black Stars.
According to the group, Kwesi Appiah has failed for the second time to prove his worth as a coach for the national team.
The sports callers said since Kwesi Appiah changed Asamoah Gyan’s role from captain to general captain because he felt Gyan couldn’t lead the team, he should be given the same role because he is only good at scouting for talents.
Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, the group said Kwesi Appiah has failed Ghanaians as a coach.
“We are saying Kwesi Appiah. He believe in the ‘general-general thing’ which indirectly is the technical director in order to avoid any further confusion.”
“Because he is someone who believes in talents hunt and can scouts very good players for the team. So he can take up that responsibility,” Nko Joseph added.
