Kumasi Asante Kotoko has completed the signings of two new players to help in their Caf Champions League preparations.
The pair are young energetic playmaker Kingsley Osei Bawuah aka Chibsah and Malian International midfielder Mamadou Kouyate formerly of AFC Eskilstuna.
They have put pen to paper on a three year stay with the Porcupine Warriors.
Kotoko stepped up preparation for their African Cup campaign with a friendly game on Wednesday 31st August with a friendly against Omnisports de Lamitie of Ivory Coast.
The game ended goalless after both sides failed to find the back of the net despite numerous goal scoring opportunities for both sides.
Kotoko will travel to face Nigerian side Kano Pillars in the first league of the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League on 10th August 2019.
They two become the 12 acquisition for the porcupine warriors this season.
Asante Kotoko have so far signed these new players namely , Ivorian Alexis Arnoud, Godfred Asiamah (Ashantigold), Justice Blay and Bright Enchill (Medeama), Kelvin Andoh, Ampem Dacosta (Karela United), Richard Arthur (formerly of Wa All Stars), goalkeeper Kwame Baah, Uganda’s George Abege of Kariobangi Sharks fame.
