Head Coach of the Black Stars ‘B’ team, Maxwell Konadu is optimistic his charges can beat Burkina Faso on October 20 to secure qualification to next year's Championship of African Nations, also known as CHAN.

Ghana suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first leg of the qualifying round at the Baba Yara Stadium and they will hope to turn around the score to book a place in the tournament after missing out in the last two editions.

Konadu believes his charges have found their rhythm after finishing second and beating Burkina Faso on penalties on their way to the finals at the just ended West African Football Union (WAFU) tournament in Senegal.

“We know it will be a physical encounter but we know them now and they will be panicking because the team they faced in Kumasi is not the one they will meet on Friday. We have transformed and they will see that we will play far better than we did in the first leg.

I am very confident that we will make it to the CHAN tournament.”

Burkina Faso eliminated Ghana the last time they met in the qualifying round of the CHAN and this time they lead on aggregate with a pending second leg.
