Kodie joined the Phobians from Liberty Professional in 2016
Accra Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant has revealed that midfielder Daniel Kodie is out of contract with the club.
According to him it’s up to the management of the club to renew his contract or not.
Kodie who joined the Phobians from Liberty Professional in 2016 is yet to be offered a new contract by the club after exhausting his three year deal at the club.
Speaking on the situation of the player after their friendly game with Glow lamp Academy, Grant insisted it’s up to the board of the club to renew the player’s contract after sustaining a long term knee injury.
“Daniel Kordie got a long term injury on his knee and at the moment he’s out of contract and it’s up to the board to make decisions on that, there’s going to be recommendations from me and others to make sure the welfare of the player is at it best.
“I feel sorry for him because he’s such a good player and a great personality as well”
Daniel Kodie made 14 appearances and scored once scored for Hearts during the truncated 2018 Ghana Premier League season.
