Coach Kwesi Appiah has named his starting team for today’s AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome with only one change from the team that played against South Africa.
Saudi-based Samuel Owusu has taken the place of Alfred Duncan who started the game against South Africa.
Duncan who is known to be a central midfielder was given a surprise start on the left wing but was whisked off in the second half of the game.
It appears the coach was unimpressed with his performance in the unusual role hence the decision to start Owusu.
The Black Stars defeated South Africa 2-0 last Thursday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
A win today will give Ghana six points from their opening two games in the qualifiers.
