After falling to beat Ivory Coast in the semi-finals, Ghana will now face South Africa for a bronze medal and a ticket to Tokyo in the ongoing U23 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
The Black Meteors were beaten 3:2 on penalties in their semi-final clash with Ivory Coast after a 2:2 stalemate in regulation time on Tuesday.
South Africa were trounced by the host country Egypt 3:0 hours after the Ivory Coast-Ghans clash at the Cairo International Stadium.
The Black Meteors clash with the South Africans has been slated for Friday, November 22, 2019 at 2:30PM whiles Egypt take on Ivory Coast on the same day at 6:00PM.
Already, Egypt and Ivory Coast have booked their tickets for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, awaiting Ghana and South Africa.
