World Vision donates boots to athletes

Denkyira Jukwa (C/R), April 28, GNA - The Twifo Praso Area Development Programme of World Vision, Ghana, on Monday donated 40 pairs of canvas boots worth four million cedis to outstanding athletes of basic schools at Jukwa.

Mr. Nicholas Ayensu, Field Officer of World Vision who presented the items said the boots were to help raise the standard and development of sports in the District.

Mr. Kingsley Amakye, District Physical Education Organizer for Basic Schools, who received the items thanked World Vision for its gesture and appealed to other organizations in the District to emulate the gesture. 28 April 05
