Off contract Bayern Munich defender Sammy Kuffour has rejected an offer from Fiorentina.
The Ghana international is available on a Bosman, but Fiorentina's contract fell well short of what he is seeking.
Inter Milan remain keen on Kuffour, but face stiff competition from the Premiership, where Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal have all been in contact with the defender's representatives.
