Alphonso assisted Bayern's third goal
Bayer Munich manager Hansi Flick has heaped praise on Alphonso Davies following his impressive performance in their 3-0 away win over Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie on Tuesday evening.
Davies put up Man of the Match display as the Bavarians thrashed the Blues at the Stamford Bridge in London ahead of their return leg encounter in two weeks time.
The 19-year-old provided an assist for Robert Lewandowski's goal after a quick counter attack.
Speaking after the final whistle, Hansi Flick said,"Davies brings his strengths to the pitch and wins a lot of defensive balls with his pace."
"He was originally signed as a winger, but he’s doing an incredible job at left-back. His development has been phenomenal."
